Hi, I'm from the UK in london. we dont get socom for a couple of months yet and you yanks have had it for a whie. I want to know what it's like and how does it compare to socom 2.

theres good and bad things about this game and its the biggest campfest 3 hour wars ppl actually die a lot quicker (hit detection) guns are a lot faster than they were in s2 and theres a whole bunch of other things someone else will prob type it up

Personally I think its a far superior game, though the Eu community will definately make it even better for me.

With socom 2 it was fun but the hit detection was soo bad it got you really pissed. In the s3 the two big downfalls are camping and sniping. Almost 90% of socom snipes its way too easy.

Socom 3 all the way. There is no comparison. Socom 2 was more of a cartoon type game to me. Socom 3 is more realistic and fun to play.

Sniping is much easier in SOCOM 3, in addition to what all of the other people said.

Camping for 3 hours. You get a kill then run to spawn and camp. Crap
Hit detection honestly isn't improved that much, or maybe it's because every gun is like a 9mm sub on s2 accuracy-wise.

Sniping is so rediculously easy everyone does it and everyone is good at it, not like s2 where it took skill. It took the fun out of the game, since people are so prone to just ...well, prone in their spawn with a sniper.

Game has about 8 million bushes in total and people seem to think they're good/it's fun to sit in a random one with an SD and a guille suit and get 19 kills.

I could go on and on, like how you need a cc to do anything good on this game, or how laggy the framerate is on big maps still, it's as bad as bitter jungle.

But really, the hit detection isn't that much improved, sniper rifles long range ALWAYS take 2 ****ing hits for me, I nail them in the chest and they either fall over as if I nailed them with a shotty or I see a big ass blood spot on them in my scope and I have to shoot them again. Even with rifles people still take tremendous amounts of hits.

If someone lags in this game, they don't run in place then appear 15 ft away, they sort of "ice skate" all over, in the air...on the ground...w/e

Bottom line is hit detection still sucks

s3 Bad Points: Camping in GB,Easy Sniping,F90=WAY TO GOOD,Mostly easy using automatics, Invisible Guille
s3 Good Points: Vehicles are fun, Big Maps are new and different from s2, Although sometimes invisible guilles are cool

both games are fun to play in there own way....socom 2 is the game that u play when u want to mess around with your friends...socom 3 however is a little more tactical, when playing you must consider all elements

Don't get me wrong, s3 has some "Neat" features and stuff, but overall it's lame imo.
